Esperia - character studies

A world inspired by Italian folklore, myths, and classical literature, reimagined in a stylized cartoon aesthetic. This board explores visual studies of several iconic and folkloric characters: Bradamante, the noble knight; Marfisa, fierce and independent Queen; Il Dottore, eccentric and verbose; Colombina, clever and lively; and the mischievous Mazzamurello, drawn as a small, elusive spirit. The Monatti are portrayed as unsettling, eerie creeps.
