Spacecraft and spaceships concepts and design
A series of concept art and design for a commission. The client needed a good visualization of his ideas (He is working for a project - scifi and space opera), so I produced some space vessels to fit his suggestions.
The Irides Space Vector (ISV) is a space transport equipped with hyperdrive engine for long travels. The ISV is produced in many variants from tourist purpose, private yacht, cargo trader and military monitor.
The small size and the mass production of the ISV make the vessel a good choice for small merchants and small corporation.
Warhound-class
This cruiser is suited for first line battle: good maneuverability, speed, weaponry and carrying capacity.
this one is made exclusively for military purpose, so not a conversion from civilian vessels.
The ship can host many ammunition depots along the hull, so has few space for fighters/shuttles and troops.
A civilian vehicle converted for military purpose. This bulky spacecraft is designed for moving in large and dense asteroid fields so it's very thick and able to support heavy fire. However its weak point is the low maneuverability and the slow speed.
Fast destroyer, very agile and heavy armed, but it's hull is pretty fragile.
This ship could be easily classified as medium cruiser for the carrying capacity, the heavy and light artillery batteries (I wrote destroyer but yes, it's definitely a cruiser). The ship can unleash a massive barrage and have a decent speed
