SPACE 2125 - Colonial Interiors – Material Studies & Habitat Design
Interior design studies for Martian colonial habitats, focusing on material choices aimed at creating warm, livable spaces for long-term residence.
The main goal behind the material selection was to provide comfort and psychological well-being in an otherwise harsh and artificial environment. Warm colors, natural textures, and the use of wood help recreate an atmosphere reminiscent of Earth, offering settlers a sense of familiarity and emotional grounding.
Each interior module aims to balance functionality, durability, and human-centered design, turning a modular habitat into a home.
